Sustainable renewal of equipment:
Cambrils is one of the pioneers municipalities in installing recycled furniture on the beach to serve bathers. The pilot test has begun on the most urban and central beach of the municipality, Prat de En Forés Beach – Regueral. On this beach all walkways, platforms, litter bins and beach benches have been renewed for recycled plastic. This material, besides having a long durability and allowing an easy assembly, is more sustainable than the traditional equipment in wood, since it manufactures 100% of the recycling of the plastic that casts in the yellow container.
